6.    The Journey

Back in 2008, the Ampere was found and launched 3 e-scooter models. Not only that, in 2009 they came up with a great innovation on manufacturing bikes for the disabled and the Government supported them to offer bikes for the differently abled. To extend their greater venture in the electric bikes industry, there came 3 e-cycles’ s models launched in 2010. In 2011, Ampere launched the product V60 and gained their attention from the Government and was recognized by DSIR in 2012. A decade of surprising launches and innovation extended with their introduction of Indigenized Charger and IQ Battery in 2013. Isn’t it surprising to see that Ampere always comes with newness every year? Likewise, they introduced battery operated vehicles for waste management in 2014, the first of its kind was offered to the Panchayat.

Ampere entered its 2015 with an expansion of its company with TATA’s investment that lead to more investors like Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan and few other investors making investment in Ampere in 2016. As a result, we got a brand-new product launch of Reo and an expansion of the company’s footprint the following year. The launch of  Reo Lithium & Magnus 60V EScooter happened when Greaves’ investment took place in the year of 2018 in which most of the stakes were held by them. Ampere’s 100% subsidiary of Greaves happened to launch Zeal and Reo elite launched in 2019 which was a great outcome of the decade. With no further ado, Ampere completes its decade of achievements with Magnus pro launch in 2020 and proudly steps into the 12^th of year.
