Pros and Cons of electric vehicle in India.
Pros: 1, Savings on fuel expenditure (running cost of an EV is going to be only 10% of a petrol vehicle, this includes fuel cost and maintenance cost). 2, Zero emission. This is one of the ways we can contribute to creating a greener future for our future generation. 3, Zero noise pollution. EVs are very silent. The electric motor is very silent when compared with the explosive petrol engine, hence the ride is very quiet. 4, Lesser or no vibration. Since there are fewer moving parts in an EV the vibrations are very low and hence the ride is very comfortable. 5, Higher efficiency. The BLDC motor used in most of the EVs are very efficient. Average efficiency of an BLDC motor is about 80% to 92% this is very high compared to a petrol engine’s efficiency of about 40% to 50%. 6, Easy to make DIY (do it yourself) kits. EVs are highly modular and can be customized or modified easily. There are only 3 main functional modules in an EV, the battery, controller and motor. These 3 can be setup i
